<p><em>Por algÃºn motivo mi Chico estÃ¡ aburrido de las bananas (guineos), pero ellas son tan baratas y buenas para el cuerpo y por eso las compro y siempre hago muffins o pan.Â  Estos muffins duran muy bien en el congelador cubiertos como por 3 meses, y en el refrigerador alrededor de 4 dÃ­as para que estÃ©n frescos, pruÃ©balos con un vaso de leche, tambiÃ©n puedes cortarles en trozos y hacer un dulce de capas con los muffins intercalando con un helado de Almendras, Â¡es deli!</em></p>

<p>For some reason my Boy is bored of bananas, but they are so good and cheap for us so I do buy them and make either bread or muffins.Â  These muffins last perfect in the freezer well covered for 3 months, in the fridge around 4 days so they stay fresh, have them with a glass of milk, you can slice them and make a layered cake of this with Almond Ice Cream, is delish!</p>

<p><strong>Receta:</strong></p>
<p>Sirve 12 muffins pequeÃ±os o 6 grandes</p>
<p>1 3/4 taza de harina<br />
1 cucharadita de Bicarbonato de Sodio<br />
1/2 cucharadita de Polvo para Hornear<br />
1/4 taza azÃºcar<br />
1/4 taza azÃºcar morena<br />
1 barra de mantequilla sin sal<br />
1 huevo ya batido<br />
1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla<br />
1/2 cucharadita de sal<br />
3 bananas medianas (utilizar tenedor para hacerles purÃ©, o poner en batidora si no deseas tener trozos)<br />
5 cucharadas de leche entera<br />
4 cucharadas de sirope de arce<br />
1 taza nueces picadas (tostadas con mantequilla y agregar pellizco de sal y de azÃºcar.Â  (reservar a un lado 1/4 de taza para poner como topping al final).<br />

<p>1 3/4 cups all purpose flour<br />
1 tsp Baking Soda<br />
1/2 tsp Baking Powder<br />
1/4 cup granulated sugar<br />
1/4 cup dark brown sugar<br />
1 stick unsalted butter<br />
1 large egg (slightly beaten)<br />
1 tsp vanilla extract<br />
1/2 tsp salt<br />
3 medium bananas (mashed with fork, or blended if you don&#8217;t want tiny pieces in the muffin)<br />
5 tbs milk (whole)<br />
4 tbs maple syrup<br />
1 cup chopped walnuts (toasted with butter and pinch of sugar and salt). (reserve on a side 1/4 cup for topping at the end).<br />

<p><strong>Instructions</strong></p>
<p>Pre Heat oven 375F<br />
Use 2 bowls</p>
<p>Grease muffin tins or just spray with non stick spray.</p>
<p>1.Â  Sift together Flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.</p>
<p>2.Â  Cream the butter, when fluffly and light add the egg, the extract, then the bananas, milk, honey and at the end 3/4 cups of the walnuts.</p>
<p>3.Â  Pour the Banana mixture on flour mixture and with a spatula combine until no dry flour pockets are shown, usually no more than 15 rounds are needed, make sure you dont over mix.</p>
<p>4.Â  Spoon batter into greased muffin tins.</p>
<p>5.Â  Sprinkle the rest of the walnuts on top of each muffin and then top it off with extra sugar in raw and a tiny dash of salt.</p>
<p>6.Â  Bake for 20 minutes if using small muffin tins and bake 30-40 minutes if using the bigger ones.Â  When going halfway turn around the tin, and after 15 minutes start checking for doneness.</p>
<p>7. When ready place it in a cool rack and wait 10-15 minutes before serving.</p>

<p><strong>Instrucciones</strong></p>
<p>Precalentar el horno a 375F<br />
Utilizar 2 bols para las mezclas</p>
<p>Engrasar el molde para los muffins o solor rocear con atomizador anti-adherente.</p>
<p>1.Â  Cernir la harina con el polvo para hornear, bicarbonato de soda y sal.</p>
<p>2.Â  Cremar la mantequilla, cuando estÃ© suavecita y clarita agregar el huevo, luego el extracto, luego las bananas, miel, leche y al final agregar 3/4 de tazas de las nueces tostadas.</p>
<p>3.Â  Agregar mezcla lÃ­quida en la mezcla de la harina y combinar con una espÃ¡tula hasta que no hayan bolsitas de aire de harina seca, usualmente no revolver mÃ¡s de 15 veces, asegÃºrate de no revolver demasiado.</p>
<p>4.Â  A cucharadas agregar la mezcla en los moldes del muffin.</p>
<p>5.Â  Poner los restos de las nueces encima de los muffins encima con un poquito de azÃºcar cruda y pedacitos de sal.</p>
<p>6.Â  Hornear por 20 minutos si estÃ¡s utilizando moldes pequeÃ±osÂ  y 30 a 40 minutos si estÃ¡ utilizando molde grande.Â  Cuanda va por la mitad del tiempo de hornear dele vuelta al molde, y luego de 15 minutos revisar si estÃ¡ listo.Â  Introducir el palillo para ver si sale con unas migajitas, entonces estÃ¡ listo.</p>
<p>7.Â  Sacar el molde y poner a reposar por 10-15 minutos antes de servir.</p>

<p>You can try so many changes on this recipe, instead of butter you could use oil, or smart balance butter, reduce or add more sugar, use regular honey instead of maple syrup, use fat free milk, substitute 1/4 cup of the flour for whole wheat flour, add an egg, don&#8217;t use the egg. Etc.Â  I just love to play with recipes even if it is baking, so keep it simple and&#8230;</p>

<p>Puedes probar diferentes cambios en esta receta, en vez de mantequilla puedes utilizar aceite de Canola o mantequilla de Smart Balance, puedes reducir o aumentar la cantidad de azÃºcar, utilizar miel de abeja en vez de sirope de arce, leche sin gransa o sustituir 1/4 taza de la cantidad de harina por la harina integral, agregar un huevo extra o no usar huevos, etc.Â  A mÃ­ me encanta jugar con las recetas hasta cuando son para hornear, asÃ­ que solo mantenlo simple y&#8230;</p>
